Original membrane filter was about 7 years old, but system was only in use about half of each year. New one was easy to install once I had the wrench for the casing. We have already noticed improved taste of well water that first goes through a softner

Received products much faster than I anticipated. With the help of an on-line "how to", this 75 year old woman quickly diagnosed and easily repaired my reverse osmosis system. It works better than it ever has. Thanks

The R/O membrane was easy to replace the old one. Although the water taste had not deteriorated, the flow was considerably reduced after four years. Flow is back up to original rate. Changed other filters too which probably helped.

I replaced this in my R-O system rather early in its lifetime. When i ordered the replacement, i asked the phone person how to tell when you really needed to replace it - we have treated water which is generally fine, so the R-O system has little work to do most of the time. So, i just let it go... for like eight years. It finally started to slow down. Not sure if it really was the membrane filter that was slowing the system down, but i replaced all the filters and flow restrictor and it is all back up to par now. My coffee tastes so much better when it's brewed without the chlorine and what other contaminants might be in the city water. Love it!
