10 IN GAC Final Filter w/ 1/4 IN Connectors

This 10 IN granular activated carbon (GAC) final filter with 1/4 IN FNTP connections is a proven option to remove certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water. GAC filters also can be used to remove chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine. This final filter is sold with two 1/4 IN connectors. Additional fittings are needed for use with 3/8 IN tubing. The Watts Premier 10 IN Granular Activated Carbon Final Filter will work as a refrigerator Inline Filter as well as the the Final Filter for the below Reverse Osmosis Systems. Granular Activated Carbon filters are most effective at reducing chlorine, taste and odor from water. They are not effective at reducing minerals, salts, and dissolved inorganic compounds.

• 10 IN GAC inline is designed for use as the final filter for the 4SV, 5SV, WP5-50, WP-ST6DM, and Zero Waste (R) reverse osmosis systems, but filter can function as a refrigerator inline filter
