10 IN GAC Pre-Filter (56 Cubic IN)

The Watts Premier 10 IN Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Pre-Filter is a proven option to remove certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water. GAC filters also can be used to remove chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine. This 10 IN GAC filter is a replacement GAC pre-filter for most systems using standard filter housings.

Note - The end of this filter with the rubber gasket must be installed in an upright position. Failure to do so may cause the filter to become stuck in the housing.

Filter life may vary based on local water conditions or use patterns. Recommended replacement of LVOC filter every 6 months.
