I had my kitchen remodeled two years ago. As part of the upgrade, we installed a pebble ice maker and had it connected to a new RO system. The plumber selected the RO system, charged me 3x the price as I had paid in the past and was left with a system that could not keep up with the ice maker, which meant there was rarely any treated water in the tank to use from the faucet. Finally, after much cajoling from my wife, I purchased a new Premier RO system to replace the overtaxed system that was initially installed.
I have been using Premier RO systems for over 20 years. They have been consistent performers over at least two decades. I have never had a single problem with any of the four units I have purchases (other than figuring out I had to add air pressure over time to keep the flow). Parts and filters were always available and they have produced more water than my demand required. The price is more than competitive and I have been able to install all of the units myself. I will never install another non-Premier RO unit under any sink in my home again. Stay with what is proven, supported, and priced right.

the line to holding tank could be a bit longer. make sure you hear a slight click when attaching the hose lines to make sure there fully attached . the unit works good and was easy to attach to under my clients kitchen sink cabinet side wall .even with them having a garbage disposal installed and keeping a fire portable fire extinguisher attached under the sink cabinet.

I replaced a 10-year-old Watts RO system. I had a problem because I could not get the old faucet off, long story. I had to purchase a 3/8ths to 1/4th John Guest push fitting becuse that is what the old faucet used. Other than that, it is great.

I bought the RO plus system. It installed very easily. Upon install the faucet was leaking through the air gap. Watts Premier sent me new faucet internals. That one also leaked. I sent the faucet and the internal mechanism back to Watts Premier. They confirmed that it was defective. I'm still waiting for an alternate faucet because the original model that I had is out of stock.

I have bought from costco 3 years back but day one onward Faucet was leaking. Every 2-3 weeks needs to tight.
I have replaced 3 times but not good design.
Don't buy this product because of faucet not good possible damage wooden cabinet part under sink.

We just replaced an almost identical Premier model we purchased from Costco four years ago. We were having problems with the faucet leaking and it was not looking that great on the countertop. The brushed stainless is, clearly, not as high quality as our faucet, and the battery compartment was not sealed so that corroded and stopped working pretty quickly. I started looking for replacement faucets, then realized that with a coupon I could get a new system, complete with all of the filters, with not much more than buying a faucet and a set of filters. So that's what we did. Four stars because of how well it works and the cost-effectiveness but not five stars because of the poor quality of the last faucet. Hopefully this one will last longer than four years.

I replaced a 2007 model of a Watts RO system. This thing pales in comparison with regards to component heft and quality. I literally saved my old system because I’m considering rebuilding it. I am amazed that the new one stopped leaking. I could not get that silly plastic universal valve to work so I rigged the old brass valve to work (compression fiting versus push in on new one). If you have an old system you should really consider rebuilding it by replacing the tank and filters and running the rest of it through your dishwasher.

I just replaced my 5 stage system after 14 years of excellent service. That was my second system in the last 20 years. I don't know how long the first system lasted as I sold the home when the system was six years old. I have installed the new RO pure system with great confidence that it will be as great or greater than the others. I think the replacement of the filters will make the process very simple.

So I installed the system and as some other people have mentioned it leaks. The problem stems from the way this system is hooked up to the drain. Since it relies on gravity it will not work for some sink types. In my case the distance is not enough and so when I turn on the water it starts leaking. I've installed the exact same system on my mother in law's sink and it works perfectly since the distance is about 3" longer than the one I have at my house. Sadly there is no way to know this until you order the system and install it and waste $200. Hence the two stars.

In one word - really dissapointed.
I was using Watts RO systems for almost 10 years. Always was happy, no any problems.
This changed when I replaced my older Watts 4 stages system today with new 4 stages Watts RO system.
First, the plastic bracket that supports filters connectors assembly was broken out of the box. Specifically a corner of the bracket broke off and there was a crack accross. Not usable as I can not safely hang the filter assembly on inside cabinet wall. Luckily my old Watts RO system had metal bracket that I was able to unscrew and use it to replace broken plastic one on new one.
Second, I noticed that new system no longer has 90 degree plastic connectors at the back of filter assembly. Would not be a problem if there was more space to put in bent ends of plastic tubes, and if plastic tubes were properly bent. Unfortunately, both was not the case - not enough space for bent tubes and tubes themselves were squashed during pre-bending by Watts. Well luckily, again, I was able to reuse my old system 90 degree plastic connectors to safely and properly connect plastic tubes to filters assembly.
Third, new faucet is really poor quality. Flimsy, difficult to istall and wiggly after installation. And Watts probabaly forgot that there are countertops with 1 inch hole. Old faucet worked fine but new one requires 1 and 1/4 inches. Ended up filing my granit countertop for an hour to enlarge the hole. But here is the worst - black drain tube quick connection leaks, period. I tried everything, straightening the tube, cutting it clean, trying to "firmly" insert, nothing worked. Well I need clean water, so I just temporarily put red brain tube directly to the drain, with the loop, and ordered a proper RO faucet from Amazon with 1 day delivery. Not a Watts product.
Overall, I understand that reducing cost of product is important. But doing so and not thinking about quality is really embarrassing. That metal backing surely cost $10 more than plastic. But it just works, unlike plastic one, I would gladly paid $20 more for metal backing... Those 90 degree plastic quick connectors at the back of filter unit surely cost $4 more (assuming one $ for each). But it works uncomparably better compared to bending tubes. For god sake, if you want to use bent tubes, add at least half an inch in that grove in backing plate.
So sad that Watts took an excellent product and screw it up, hard.

I have my filter hooked up to my ice maker and fridge. It's is amazing how clear the ice made with RO water is.
The first time I changed my water filter my wife was insisting there was no need to change filters every six months.
I said let's do an experiment and cut the carbon prefilter open. I wish I could post the picture here. Totally disgusting brown sludge was all over the exterior surface of the filter. Needlessly to say she never lets me miss a filter change now.
I did the same thing with my office filters . Same results.

A bought this system at Costco a couple years ago. After one year it stopped working. Went back and forth with customer service and never got it to work. I took it back to Costco. A year later I ordered another one directly from the manufacturer, thinking the first one was a fluke. I had the wp4v systems at my two previous homes and they work flawlessly for years. I wanted to give Watts Premier another chance. Well, after six months this system stopped working. Not sure what I'm going to do but after the go-round with customers service last year, I'm not looking forward to it. I do not recommend this system. This is probably why Costco doesn't carry this anymore...

Shopped for replacement under sink RO system for my 20+ year old model. This RO Pure + is the best value for the money. Installation is easy and straight forward. Materials are superior quality. Especially like versatility of the Adapt-a-Valve water supply valve and the easy to change filters. Installation instructions are well written and easy to understand. System uses 3/8" drain tube, most other competitors use only 1/4" drain. Top Mount Twist faucet is top quality and a "snap" (pun intended) to install. If installed properly according to instructions the faucet locks into place securely and will not come off until the locking tab is pressed. The only improvement I can suggest is the "monitor indicator" be changed from blinking blue LED, to a Red/Green LED that indicates when filters need to be changed. This would require a water quality module (tube) to be installed at the faucet through which the water passes, indicating clarity (cloudiness means filter needs changing).

The RO system i bought in 2014 from costco lasted for couple of years and then water quality started going down. I have worked with customer service in replacing various parts and event sent the system to their quality center. I have wasted nearly 4 months in figuring out the root cause. Finally i gave up and purchased the same system brand new which is working well now.

The first one was installed in 2001 in California. Now in Indiana on our own well and very hard water with lots of iron and sulpher.We have a water softener and now have added the RO to make the water palatable and desalted.

THIS IS MY SECOND UNIT. THE FILTER SYSTEM DOES VERY GOOD WORK, BUT THE STORAGE TANK BROKE FAST. SO THE FULL SYSTEM LEAVE OF WORK. THE FIRST TANK LAST A LITTLE MORE THAN ONE YEAR, BUT THE SECONDONE ONLY TWO MONTHS AND NOW THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IS A JUNK. NOT BUY BACK ANY OF ITS PRODUCTS. VERY DISAPOINTED.

I have a similar experience like the costumer above with this text: I don't know why you keep sending me these surveys about "my Experience" I have voiced numerous complaints about the bad guidance I was given to purchase replacement parts and then told that my unit should actually be replaced due to its age. This is after I bought parts, paid for express shipping and bought all of the new filters, etc. What a waste of money and time. I pity anybody who has to call your customer service number. The wait times on the phone were awful. Of the 10 times or so that I had to call I was often caller #13 which meant a 2 hour wait. And don't even try the call back feature by leaving your number. I tried the call back option and nobody ever called me back. Once, I even got transferred to a man in Mexico working in a factory making parts, and when I mentioned this incident to customer service I was told that they never transfer people to Mexico and that I must have mistakenly dialed a call to Mexico myself. Really! Total disappointment in your company. I had expected you to do better. That's why it is ridiculous when you keep sending me these messages, like you care what my experience was.

My original WP-4V lasted about 10 years but when the water started tasting bad (yes, I sanitized it all the time), I called customer support and they suggested that after 10 years it should be replaced. To be honest, I was tired of changing the filters on that style and was happy to upgrade to this unit just for the ease of how to change filters. Simple to do, since I had done it 10 years ago, and we are very happy to have great tasting water again! Been ordering filters and other supplies from Premier for the 10 years and they have never let me down. Great company.

We just had our ro put in and previous we had filtration water that had to have ice in it to be drinkable. With our new watts we can use the water right out of the small tap and it is great.

We purchased a brand new home in 1989, I made 2 purchases before moving in. One was a water softener, if you live in Southern California you know why. Second was a Premireh2o reverse osmosis unit. The water softner was professionly installed the reverse osmosis unit before moving in. The Premireh2o unit was easy to install , read the instructions follow the directions and you will have no problems. A suggestion however, if you have a undercounter sink and real stone or tile counters you may want a professional stone or tile person to drill the hole for the faucet. The maintaince is a snap. We have had the same unit for 27 years and have had no problems.

I have installed several RO systems. This is the nicest design and easiest so far. Instructions are good and you won't need to use many tools for the installation.
Use this water and your coffee will taste better and the coffee pot will last forever.

I replaced 90% of the systems components at a very high price rather than replace the entire system that would have cost fair less. Now it looks like similar systems are being closed out. The system simple doesn't work after a couple years regardless of replacing filters and you are left with nobody to service the system if you live in New England.

The system seems to be fine and supplies good R.O. water. After running the water the system is a little noisy from the water running into the sink's drain until it stops.
The install instructions are very easy to follow and the parts well designed as they all fit with no leaks. Filter changing is very easy as each filter can be tipped up and disengaged easily and quickly.
All in all, a nice product.

I just bought another RO-Pure for a relative because I love mine so much. I have had mine for at least 5 years. Works perfect and I am pretty faithful at replacing the filters on schedule. My relative loves it after having an older style unit. Highly recommend.

this is my third watts reverse osmosis machine, and by far the best yet. (the first 2 were bought thru costco) the originals are still running but I left them in place when I moved.
this is the first one I installed myself, the previous two i called a plumber to install.
I'm happy to report that it went well, no leaks, and was easy, especially once in remembered to use plumbers tape!
I'm glad I bought this direct as the costco version is no longer available, and the unit they did have has poor reviews.

Upgraded from a WP 5. Which worked better than advertised. Just wanted something easier to maintain going into my 70's and 80's. Super Simple Install. Excellent directions. Clearly written, illustrated, labeled, color coded, etc. And, of course, Nothing Leaked! Then Just: Fill and Drain Tank 3x and start drinking! Great engineering folks.

This is my 3rd system I have put in. First my house then an RV. Now another RV (fifth wheel trailer). This one, by far was the easiest to install. The new style water connections are the best,. easy to hook up and had running in less than 2 hours with no leaks. The new style spigot is great also, not sure what the flashing blue light will do for me. Shipping was good, even tho it is christmas time.....

This was a very easy install, and it is working great so far. Love that filter replacement will be much easier than on the old WP-5 model (although that was a faithful workhorse). Also love the the filter assembly is so much lighter. Overall, it appears to be a great improvement.

I've been a Watts Premier RO system user for 15 years and trust their products. This Pure Plus system replaced a 5-Stage system that I installed about 9 years ago that was in a location challenging to change the filters. It may be a better system but if you resist changing filters for over a year past the due date what good is it? I had been eyeing this push-button cartridge system (Pure Plus) for some time and finally gave in when it went on sale. I can't say enough how easy the installation was and how much I'm looking forward to changing these cartridges via push-button rather than use a wrench. I only hope this unit is as durable as the 5-Stage. If so, Watts has another winner on their hands!

I've had a premier RO unit for 9 years, replacing the membrane once. I had some trouble with the shutoff valve and the membrane is old so I got this unit to replace the old one. It was easy to install. The unit is streamlined to easily fit under the sink and the cartridges are a good design improvement. These folks know purification systems and I trust them. The phone support is good when you need help. An excellent system at a great price.

Management, please reconsider training your customer support service. I want to write details to give you more information but this space is so limited. So I just want to give you a highlight here. I love your product but when it comes to an issue, it is hard to reach your customer support service. I called and called and left message, no response. Then I called in again and waited for 30min, I was able to speak to a lady named Marry. Instead of helping me she treated me like a dummy. It is even funny that she told me to drink tap water instead of relying on the RO! I have been recommended your products to many friends, coworkers and family but I will stop doing it from today. I don't want them to have bad experience like me. You need to do something with your customer support to keep your products on the market. We don't want to buy your product if we don't have good customer support.

I bought a 2nd unit from Costco to replace the 1st old one. A few months later the water on the faucet base was leaking. This might be a trivial issue. But after two years I found that the tip and the inside of the u-shaped tube of the faucet corroded, looked like iron rust. It was not made of stainless steel. The water which is purified and stored in the tank but runs through the rusted faucet is surely contaminated.
I posed a question on the website on September 9, 2015 but so far (today, September 24, 2015) I have not received any reply on resolution. I'm really disappointed.

The pipe connected to their reverse osmosis has been leaking. Tried calling, left a voicemail for callback with no response. Tried again later, and was waiting on the line this time for 30 minutes. When it got to me, the line was hung up. Thank you "premier!" What a joke.

This is the second unit we bought. We had one in our home, and installed one in the rental. The ease of installation, and then easy of changing the filters is worth it. I think swapping the cartridges saves soo much time. If I had a 3rd house, I would install the same.
