This replacement ultraviolet housing with lamp, for disinfection of bacteria**, in drinking water, replacement for unit part numbers WP550017 and WP500320. UV bulb life varies (Approx. 1 yr.) Germicidal lamps efficiently emit large amounts of ultraviolet rays 253.7nm (nanometers) which have excellent germicidal effect.
